FELICIA DREW, AGE 31, OF PEPPERELL, and GREGORY TAMMARO, AGE 28, OF GROTON are charged with Conspiracy and Shoplifting Over $100 by Concealing Merchandise.
All four suspects are well known to police.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., Littleton Police received a report of an erratic motor vehicle on Route 119.
A responding officer located the vehicle, a 2017 silver Subaru Crosstrek with Connecticut plates, on Great Road in front of the police station, and attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop. However, the occupants began throwing beer bottles and other items out the window at the police cruiser.
A pursuit ensued as the officer followed the vehicle, which entered Interstate 495 south, traveling at 75 to 80 mph. The vehicle then traveled onto Route 2 westbound at the same speeds.
The vehicle exited the highway at Route 111 in Harvard. The operator immediately drove onto Route 2 eastbound and exited at Taylor Street. From there, the car headed into Boxborough from Route 111 and then into Acton, where it came to rest after crashing into another vehicle.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
Littleton Police located HICKEY in the driver’s seat, along with BRUNETTO, TAMMARO and DREW. During the pursuit, police learned that the suspects were involved in a shoplifting incident at Shaw’s in Groton. They were placed under arrest without incident and are scheduled to be arraigned in Ayer District Court this afternoon.
